| After completing a degree in medical Biophysics Dr Liasis worked at the Institute of Neurology Queens Square London investigating multi-channel evoked potentials in patients with occipital lobe epilepsy. In 1994 Dr Liasis moved to Great Ormond Street Hospital where he was involved in recording multisensory evoked potentials and electroencephalograms in children. After completing a PhD in neuroscience in 2000 he moved to the Ophthalmology Department where he co-lead the Visual Electrophysiology Unit for 18 years and for the last 6 years was head of the Ophthalmology Department.
In 2018 Dr Liasis moved to the Pittsburgh and is now the Director of Adult and Pediatric Electrophysiology service for UPMC. |
